Judith Kuntsche (Associate Professor, University of Southern Denmark, Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy) studied Pharmacy at the Humboldt University Berlin (Germany, 1992-1998). She was working as a pharmacist (manufacturing of infusions for ambulant chemotherapy, 1998-2000) and did her PhD studies at the Friedrich Schiller University (FSU) Jena (Germany, 2000-2004). After a research visit at the University of Kuopio in Prof. Arto Urtti’s group (Finland, 2004/2005, Marie-Curie Fellowship), she obtained her PhD degree in 2006 at FSU (Prof. Alfred Fahr, Prof. Heike Bunjes). In 2007-2011, she was working as a PostDoc (Habilitant) in Prof. Karsten Mäder’s group at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (Germany). Since 2011, she is employed as Associate Prof. at the University of Southern Denmark, Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy. Her major research interests are focused on lipid-based formulations for drug delivery.
