The electro-hydrodynamic processing, comprising electrospinning and electrospraying processes, is a new disruptive technology in the pharma field to produce nanofiber based materials and submicronized particles at room temperature, which is finding an increasing number of applications, especially since it has lately become industrialized and the first GMP and ISO13485 certified facilities began to operate at Bioinicia S.L.

This Tech Forum will provide an introduction to the technology, the engineering breakthroughs that allow its industrial implementation and detailed examples on how this can be of use for the controlled release and enhanced bioavailability of drugs.
